Upcoming Event: Spring Clean Up Dumpster Drop-Off Site

Saturday, May 11 Country Club Historic District is a drop off site during the citywide spring clean up. This is an opportunity to rid your household of unsightly items and any items that won’t fit in the weekly curbside pick-ups. Dumpsters will be located at the triangles (intersection of 53rd, Grant and Country Club Ave.) Volunteers are needed!

Established in 1926, the Country Club Historic District features homes built between 1927 and 1949 in the 19th and 20th Century Tudor revival styles. The community was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Historic Lamp Post Painting

In 2023, the Country Club Historic District began the process of professionally painting the historic lamp posts in our neighborhood. The time, materials and expertise for the restoration are being generously donated by a neighbor, Eric McGill. The project will be completed in phases with 20 lamp posts and paintings donated per year until completion.

This is a project that has been on our roadmap for a long time. We appreciate any additional support or contributions to this effort. Click below to make a donation to the project fund, or to select a lamp post of your choice for restoration.
